Spesso i lettori sono stupiti dalle storie bibliche per molti motivi. Questo è ciò che avviene leggendo Am 7,1-9 e Am 8,1-3, da cui ad esempio non emerge chiaramente la struttura e il significato reale della narrazione. Questo articolo consta di tre parti. Nella prima è esposto lo status quaestionis della ricerca su Am 7,1-9 e Am 8,1-3. Nella seconda è illustrata la metodologia, la delimitazione e la struttura del testo. Nella terza è proposta l’esegesi del testo in una prospettiva teologica con una particolare attenzione alla fedeltà e alla grazia di YHWH per il suo popolo. Readers are often astonished by biblical stories for many reasons. This is the case of Am 7,1-9 and Am 8,1-3 in which the structure and the real meaning of the narration are not immediately evident. This article consists of three parts. The first part offers the status quaestionis of the research on Am 7,1-9 and Am 8,1-3; the second illustrates the method used, the delimitation and the structure of the text; and the third proposes a theological exegesis of the text with particular attention to the fidelity and the grace of God toward his people. The conclusion makes a synthesis of the main points of the text’s analysis.
