Nel presente contributo in latino vengono inizialmente riportate le vicissitudini riguardanti la nascita del sodalizio poetico Opaca Fronde, fondato dal prof. Jacopo Rubini presso il Pontificium Institutum Altioris Latinitatis. Vengono brevemente presentate le cause, che hanno spinto Jacopo Rubini a fondare il suddetto sodalizio; vengono poi esposte le ragioni, per cui, secondo l’opinione dell’autore, la scrittura di haiku in latino può contribuire in maniera significativa all’approfondimento delle conoscenze e delle competenze riguardanti la lingua latina (laddove essa sia coltivata secondo metodi attivi e/o naturali), sia nel caso di studenti, che di semplici appassionati di letteratura e lingua latina. In ultima analisi, l’haiku latino viene proposto come utile ed efficace strumento didattico. Al termine dell’articolo, viene presentata una breve antologia di haiku del Sodalicium.

In this Latin contribution the author first relates how the new poetic group named Opaca Fronde was founded by prof. Jacopo Rubini in the Pontificium Institutum Altioris Latinitatis. The causes, which have induced Jacopo Rubini to found the aforementioned group, are afterwards briefly enucleated; the author proceeds then to explain the reasons, by which the author himself believes that the act of writing Latin haiku could be a powerful instrument for increasing and deepening the linguistic knowledge and the competences of both students and people fond of Latin literature and language, given the language be studied by the use of active and/or natural methods. Ultimately, the Latin haiku is proposed as a useful and effective didactic instrument. At the end of the article, a brief anthology of some Sodalicium’s haiku is presented to the reader
