Il contributo illustra anzitutto l'oggettiva rilevanza della dottrina origeniana nella storia della teologia, fino al Concilio Vaticano II. Prende poi in esame gli strumenti, le collane e le iniziative che tra il XX e XXI secolo hanno promosso la ricerca scientifica sull'Alessandrino. Propone infine una riflessione sulle Omelie XVII e XXVII sul Libro dei Numeri, per dimostrare gli sviluppi mistici della dottrina origeniana.

This article first of all illustrates the importance of Origen's doctrine in the history of theology until the time of the Second Vatican Council. It then examines the means, the series of books and initiatives by which scientific research on this inhabitant of Alexandria was furthered in the twentieth and twenty first centuries. Finally, in order to illustrate the mystical development of Origen's theology, it provides a study of the 17th and 27th Sermons on the book of Numbers.
