Desde la perspectiva teológica de J. Ratzinger, el presente estudio postula la función fundativa del logos cristiano. Es decir, se propone evidenciar el carácter explícitamente teológico del Logos divino como el antecedente indispensable de la fe cristiana y de la elaboración teológica fundamental. El argumento decisivo de esta investigación se concentra en la unidad ontológica del Hijo de Dios y en su unicidad salvífica como el Verbo encarnado. Porque lo fundativo de la teología fundamental de Ratzinger encuentra en el Logos su aspecto esencial, el presente estudio no puede más que afronta una teología católica fundada en los principios fundativos de la «cristología del Logos».

From the theological perspective of J. Ratzinger, the present study postulates the foundative function of the Christian logos. That is, it sets out to demonstrate the explicitly theological character of the divine Logos as the indispensable antecedent of the Christian faith and of fundamental theological elaboration. The decisive argument of this investigation concentrates on the ontological unity of the Son of God and his uniqueness as the Incarnate Word. Because the foundative of Ratzinger’s fundamental theology finds its essential aspect in the Logos, the present study can only address a Catholic theology based on the foundative principles of the «Christology of the Logos».
